STR (Scholtz Trailer Repairs Pty Ltd), is a second-generation family-owned business and was established in 1985. We are based in Centurion, Gauteng and services clients all over South Africa and Africa.

The STR 3rd LEG Support was designed and manufactured by Johan Scholtz, one of the owners and founders of STR (Scholtz Trailer Repairs), in 2017 specifically for drop trailer programs.
This product was designed to provide additional stability for un-hitched trailers during loading operations. The STR 3rd LEG support has been load tested up to 20 tons.

We are a Jost distributor, fitment and service centre. We can assist you with inspections and maintenance on fifth wheels, kingpins, rubbing/ skid plates and all hitching equipment.
All STR rubbing/ skid plates are manufactured to Jost specifications and are serialized for quality and traceability purposes.
Through correct maintenance of critical safety and hitching equipment, your fleet maintenance costs can be reduced significantly.
